Meet Robin Wilson
Hello! I’m Robin Wilson, owner of Ridge Pilates. I’ve always had a love for movement. As a child, I was a competitive figure skater and then skated on the University of Delaware’s Collegiate Figure Skating Team. I discovered Pilates while rehabilitating injuries from skating and found that I felt stronger, leaner, and more flexible when I included Pilates as a regular part of my life. Pilates improved my skating and became a passion.
After college, I continued my Pilates practice during law school at the University of Virginia. I practiced law for several years before deciding to make Pilates my career.
When I’m not in the studio, you can find me doing home projects with my husband, Jeff, and shuttling our two young kids to swimming, gymnastics, and basketball.
I send a weekly email with studio updates, last-minute openings, and Pilates fun facts most Monday mornings.

Ridge Pilates is a private boutique Pilates studio in South Charlotte.
The studio is located in my private residence, offering complete privacy and a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Ridge Pilates is fully equipped with classical Pilates equipment by Pilates Designs. There is a private entrance, available parking, and a studio restroom. I am committed to keeping you healthy and safe. All equipment is cleaned between clients, and I run a HEPA air purifier in the studio at all times. Ridge Pilates welcomes clients of all ages and fitness levels. I’d love to have you here!
The Pilates Method
The Pilates method teaches you to be in control of your body and not at its mercy.

Pilates is a full-body workout that tones, lengthens, and strengthens muscles while continuously working the core. Regular Pilates practice can improve posture, balance, agility, control, and flexibility. Pilates can benefit anyone, at any fitness level — from world-class athletes to first-time exercisers and brand-new moms — and is an excellent complement to other activities like golf, tennis, running, or dance.
