More about Robin Wilson, the owner

Robin has always had a love for movement. She was a competitive figure skater as a child and a member of the University of Delaware’s Collegiate Figure Skating Team. She discovered Pilates while rehabilitating injuries from skating and found that she felt stronger, leaner, and more flexible when she included Pilates as a regular part of her life.  Pilates improved her skating and became a passion.

After college at the University of Delaware, Robin continued her Pilates practice during law school at the University of Virginia. She practiced law for several years before deciding to make Pilates her career.

When she’s not in the studio, you can find her doing home projects with her husband, Jeff, and running after their two young children.

Ridge Pilates is a private boutique Pilates studio in South Charlotte.

The studio is located in the private residence of the owner, offering complete privacy and a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Ridge Pilates is fully equipped with classical Pilates equipment by Pilates Designs. There is a private entrance, available parking, and a studio restroom. We are committed to keeping you healthy and safe. All equipment is cleaned between clients and we run a HEPA air purifier in the studio at all times. Ridge Pilates welcomes clients of all ages and fitness levels.
